Eight BYOD trolley solutions designed, installed and supported for Procter & Gamble to enhance Microsoft Teams collaboration across their Weybridge office

Pacific delivered eight flexible BYOD trolley solutions, combining premium audio and video technology with simple single-cable connectivity to support collaboration throughout the workplace.

Procter & Gamble, whose goal is to use every opportunity they have – no matter how small – to set change in motion, appointed Pacific to design, install and support eight BYOD trolley solutions for their teams around their Weybridge office.

The Solution

Pacific equipped each trolley solution with an LG 75" commercial screen, a Logitech Rally Bar with two expansion microphones and a StarTech USB-C connection for a single-cable laptop connection and charging. The solutions were designed to provide high-quality audio and video while giving teams the flexibility to use the trolleys throughout the office.

How We Did It

The key requirements were to have great audio pickup and great camera quality for participants on a Microsoft Teams call. Procter & Gamble wanted far-end participants to feel as if they were ‘in the room’.

To meet these requirements, Pacific equipped each trolley solution with an LG 75″ commercial screen, a Logitech Rally Bar with two expansion microphones and a StarTech USB-C connection for a single-cable laptop connection and charging.

The Logitech Rally Bar is a leading all-in-one device within the market, featuring a 4K PTZ camera with 15x zoom capability and microphone pickup of up to 8 metres. It met Procter & Gamble’s requirements in terms of picture and audio quality, while Pacific successfully installed all eight BYOD solutions within the specified timeframe.

Results

The Procter & Gamble teams now enjoy high-quality Microsoft Teams calls, improving collaboration across departments.

As Giordano Marchi from Procter & Gamble commented:

“It was great to work with Pacific to find new and innovative solutions to implement in our workplaces. Pacific has always been a great partner for us providing high quality installations and brilliant customer support.”

This structure also keeps The Solution focused purely on what was installed, Teams Involved on who worked together, How We Did It on how the solution met the brief, and Results on the outcome. It’s a cleaner case study format.
