Service Desk

Pacific run outsourced first-line support helpdesks for some of our clients, including FTSE 100 companies, which are deeply embedded into our customers’ own systems and culture. We run these as ‘white-label’ services, meaning that end-users are usually unaware that a third party provides the service.

For our customers, this leaves them able to concentrate on the service level and outcomes for users, rather than the day-to-day operations; meanwhile, their users benefit from the knowledge and experience of both organisations to continually improve the service.

We also offer shared support services for smaller organisations, giving them service level agreement-backed IT support via our service team.

Deskside Support

When distributed organisations need IT support staff on hand for users, Pacific can provide ongoing, dedicated, resources on-site. We often provide this service to fill gaps for larger organisations – for example, in geographic locations without cover, or for specific contract gaps such as print services.

We successfully provide embedded deskside resources to global organisations within their UK and Irish operations, and to smaller UK operations who may not need full-time assistance, but would instead benefit from a more bespoke arrangement.

Technical Logistics​

Our technical logistics team adds a great deal of value to our customers’ IT supply chain. We handle all of the elements of your IT investment lifecycle, such as procurement, storage, configuration, distribution, asset management, security, ongoing support and reuse/recycling.

We hold and configure stock for some customers, so that they can respond quickly to requests from their users. For others, we may customise ‘off-the-shelf’ builds from the major

manufacturers to suit their specific industry needs. In any case, Pacific’s Technical Logistics function is here to ensure that your IT supply chain delivers exactly what you need to the right place, at the right time.

Installation and Break-Fix

Our UK and Ireland-wide teams help with many IT rollouts and distributed IT operations, taking on planning, communications, configuration, installation, training and asset disposal.

We have worked successfully on such projects for both large UK and global organisations – including rollouts such as Windows version upgrades, PC upgrades, printer replacements, network infrastructure and wireless access points, PC replacement programmes, handheld devices for stock management, chip and pin devices, and new location fit-outs.

In addition, our teams around the UK and Ireland can respond quickly to break-fix incidents, using our logistics network to be able to meet agreed SLAs for break-fix on IT equipment such as PCs, printers, network equipment, retail POS equipment, and more.
