Wellington Country Park approached Pacific to provide the technical know-how to deliver their vision.

Wellington Country Park, a visitor attraction in Hampshire, wanted to bring their popular dinosaur trail to life with the sounds of the prehistoric forest, and approached Pacific to provide the technical know-how to deliver their vision.

Our approach was to install camouflaged outdoor speakers around the trail, burying the outdoor-safe cables beneath the paths, and creating a number of overlapping audio zones using a single cable route, all controlled using a multi-channel QSC Core. Triggered by visitors tripping infrared switches, the atmosphere of the trail is enhanced with background audio and ever-changing and moving dinosaur calls and movement.

The reliable system needs no user intervention and is timed to cut off outside of opening hours throughout the year.
