AirLife – Seamless Meeting Room AV Solution

When AirLife set up its new office in Basingstoke, they needed a seamless and high-quality meeting room AV solution that allowed employees to bring their own devices (BYOD) and connect effortlessly. Clear audio and sharp video were top priorities for ensuring smooth video conferencing and presentations. To make this vision a reality, they turned to Pacific, a trusted name in UK audio visual solutions.

From the start, Pacific worked closely with AirLife to understand their needs and challenges. They needed a system that delivered crystal-clear sound, high-definition video, and an intuitive plug-and-play experience—all while integrating seamlessly into the existing office setup. Using their extensive experience in AV and BYOD design, Pacific created a meeting room AV solution tailored to AirLife’s specific requirements.

In the boardroom, Pacific installed a cutting-edge Logitech Rally PTZ meeting room Camera, known for its high-quality optics and superior meeting room audio performance. To capture every word with clarity, premium microphone pods with beamforming technology were strategically placed, ensuring voices were crisp and background noise was minimized. The Rally Speaker delivered clear, undistorted sound throughout the room. To complete the setup, an LG 86″ 4K display was mounted, making remote meetings feel as immersive as in-person conversations.

For the smaller meeting rooms, Pacific provided a simple yet powerful solution. The Logitech Meetup, an all-in-one conference camera with a 120-degree field of view, integrated microphone, and speaker technology, and 4K resolution, was the perfect fit. Each room was fitted with an LG 55″ or 43″ screen, offering vibrant visuals and making every detail clear to participants.

The customer service room required a slightly different approach. Pacific installed the Logitech Rally Bar, an all-in-one video conferencing solution with automated PTZ and top-tier audio capabilities. Paired with an LG 55″ 4K display, the setup ensured that every call was as clear and professional as possible.

Beyond AV, Pacific took care of the essential infrastructure upgrades. They installed 60 new Cat 6 data points, carefully placed to fit AirLife’s office layout. These new connections ensured fast and reliable network performance. Additional power sockets were added in key locations, including the boardroom, customer service room, desk areas, and printer space.

To support the entire system, Pacific installed a dedicated rack and Power Distribution Unit (PDU) in the communications room, ensuring a well-organized and efficient setup. Proper cable management kept everything neat and easy to maintain.

Throughout the project, Pacific worked efficiently to minimize disruption, handling installation, setup, and testing with precision. The result was a fully optimized meeting room experience where employees could simply plug in their devices and get to work without technical hiccups.
