West Dean College of Arts and Conservation – Clocks Classroom

Enhanced visual content solutions for teachers and students.

West Dean College of Arts and Conservation sought out Pacific to continue our longstanding relationship as AV partners, in order to update the AV solution within their Clock Classroom.

West Dean College were looking for a solution which would enable the teaching staff to provide enhanced visual content when giving practical demonstrations. To meet their requirements, Pacific installed a ceiling-mounted Lumens CL510 document camera, which outputs to a trio of 4K repeater displays from LG, ensuring that students have a clear and unobstructed view of the content.

Due to the intricate detail involved with the repair of watches and clocks, a second input source comes in the shape of a microscope. To allow staff to seamlessly switch between the document camera and microscope, a desk-mounted HDMI switcher from ATEN was used, whilst a third output allows teaching staff to share content directly from their laptop to the repeater displays, ensuring a flexible and adaptive solution.

“Good job as always, guys!”
