Supply & installation of a video wall for new product showcase.

Frövi, a British furniture company based in London, were planning an event to release their new catalogue. They approached Pacific to supply and install a video wall, which would be used during the event to showcase the new product ranges.

The first step was to carry out a free-of-charge site survey. This is a service that Pacific offers to all clients, as it provides a great opportunity to get to know the client’s requirements and desired outcomes in more detail, as well as to see the physical space where the installation will take place and understand any limitations.

The video wall was a prominent feature during the release event, providing a “wow factor” and allowing Frövi to showcase their new products to their best advantage. Frövi were highly satisfied with the result, and with Pacific’s service as a whole.

After completion of the site survey, the Pacific pre-sales team and the Frövi account manager, Richard Donaldson, called on their extensive knowledge of video walls – gained over the course of many years of carrying out similar installations – to design a suitable solution for Frövi. To meet Frövi’s requirements and to allow the new products to be shown to their best abilities, the team chose to use nine Philips 49” Full HD LED display screens, mounted to the wall with SmartMount Full Service mounts with quick release to allow for fast and easy access to the screens as required for service and maintenance in future. The software to control the video output to the screens was installed on an Intel NUC PC, giving the Frövi team the ability to easily add new content themselves as and when needed.
